Origin and ownership
Moomba was founded in 1992 by Skier's Choice as the value-tier sister brand to Supra. Production has stayed in Maryville, Tennessee throughout.
Design philosophy
Moomba hulls use v-drive Indmar inboard rigging and surf gate technology. Architecture is shared with Supra; differentiation is fit-and-finish and option packages.
Sister-brand parts pipeline through Skier's Choice supports Supra-and-Moomba cross-service.
Used-market notes and known issues
Surf gate actuator service at 5-year mark.
Indmar Monsoon raw-water pump impeller 100-hour service item.
Tower hardware shares Supra pre-2019 powder-coat issues.
Skier's Choice dealer network supports both Supra and Moomba.
Resale
Moomba holds resale at the mid-tier wake average. Three-year depreciation runs 18 to 25 percent. Five-year depreciation runs 30 to 38 percent.
Where Moomba fits
Buyers cross-shop Moomba against Axis (Malibu) and Heyday (MasterCraft) at the mid-tier wake segment. The argument is value pricing with surf-wave capability.
