The GTX is a premium touring jet ski that can do almost everything except race. The 170, 230, and 300 are the same boat; only an electronic power limiter sets them apart. With 300 horsepower it is built for offshore performance, and the big swim platform with LinQ points and room to sit make it a fine ski for a day out with friends or family. The catch is the price. A GTI SE starts around $11,499 and covers most of what a casual rider wants, so the GTX extra power and amenities can be wasted on someone who does not take it offshore.
